Notice Title
Brighton Station Health Centre - Primary Care Hub - RFI
Notice Description
The Commissioner is seeking the views of Healthcare Providers in relation to the provision of a Primary Care Hub at Brighton Station Health Centre. The Commissioner is considering a contract period of between five and nine years, this remains subject to finalisation. Important: The Primary Care Hub comprises two distinct elements, each with its own specification: 1) The GP List, and 2) Walk-in service. Our aim is to present these components as a single combined lot in the tender, to achieve economies of scale for the provider, and oversight and supervision for the walk-in service by the APMS registered list clinicians. The contractor will provide Primary Care services to those patients registered with the Brighton Station Health Centre in accordance with the APMS contract 2023/24, with annual contract variations as published by NHS England. In addition to the registered list of patients, the Brighton Station walk-in service aims to offer effective and rapid primary care access to a range of patients who present to the premises in need of urgent primary care services. This will be provided in a timely way to reduce the need to access Urgent Treatment Centre and Emergency Departments, between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00, seven days a week. The commissioners are considering an overall annual indicative budget of between PS2,495,000 (five years with the option of two years extension) and PS2,473,000 (seven years with the option of two years extension) including an annual pass through of circa PS378k. The provider will ensure the service is fully integrated with local general practice, Sussex NHS 111/CAS, UTCs and the wider Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) system, and the local voluntary and community sector. The service will include care navigation and social prescribing services. Patients will be navigated by staff to the most appropriate health, social care or housing services for their needs. This needs to include a Make Every Contact Count approach to help ensure effective signposting. Until 15th December, we are extending an invitation to interested parties to respond to this RFI. If you would like to have a further conversation about this offer, please contact us via the Atamis eTendering portal. This Request for Information (RFI) process is designed to help the Commissioner to form a view of the best way to commission the service and is not the beginning of a Tender exercise. A Tender advertisement may be issued at the appropriate time, if required, should the Commissioner consider that the optimum route to commission the service is through a procurement process. Your feedback at this point will not have a bearing on any future Tender submissions you may wish to offer later, should the Commissioner undertake a procurement for this service. You will not be disadvantaged if you choose not to respond to this RFI, but it will be helpful to understand your views at this early stage, so you are encouraged to respond as fully as you can. Additional information: Interested providers will be able to view this opportunity via the live opportunities list on the 'Health Family' e-procurement system, Atamis. Click on 'View our Live Opportunities' from the home page, available on the following link: https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome. Once you have found the opportunity (via the search function, using the title or reference number), to gain full access to the Request for Information (RFI) document, you will need to click on 'Register interest' - this will take you to the log-in page. If you are not already registered on the system, you will need to do so before gaining full access to the documentation and to be able to submit your response through Atamis. Please complete your response and return via the Atamis eTendering portal; Reference: C228564 Deadline: 17:00hrs 15/12/2023. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your insight.
