Notice Title

Rough Sleeping Initiative - Additional Beds

Notice Description

The City of London Corporation requires a provider to deliver not less than 5 bed spaces to act as initial assessment places within the accommodation pathway. The City of London supported accommodation pathway consists of low, medium and high-support bed spaces across 5 neighbouring boroughs. In the first instance it is not always apparent what support needs an individual has or if they are eligible for assistance locally, or in the UK. The intended use of the assessment spaces is to better ascertain what support offer is required while the individual is settled in a safe and suitable place. The assessment spaces are not intended as long-term options and clients should be resettled from them as soon as a credible and deliverable service offer is provided. The designated outreach worker from the City of London outreach team will remain the principle caseworker. The duration of the contract is from 1st July 2019 until 30th March 2020, subject to the right of the City (at its sole discretion) to exercise its right to extend the Contract by up to 1 year. The maximum length of the contract is therefore 1 year and 8 months. To bid for this opportunity, you must be registered on the Capital E Sourcing tendering portal (https://www.capitalesourcing.com/web/login.shtml - project code: prj_col_13700)
