Notice Description

Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), part of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), requires a review and update on the charging infrastructure needs for the region's bus services, to support its aspiration to have the cleanest bus fleet in any Metropolitan area of the UK and utilise new clean technology to grow zero emission travel for the mass movement of people. TfWM require the locations, impacts, risks, costs and funding opportunities of 'en-route' charging infrastructure for bus to be determined. In order to access the tender documents and submit a bid please do so through BravoSolution, the WMCA's e-tendering portal (https://wmca.bravosolution.co.uk). The tender reference is itt_715 and if you are not already registered on BravoSolution it is free and usually only takes a few minutes to do so. Please see the various attachments outlining further details of the requirement and please note that the contract for this project will be based on the Agreement which is also included. Bids are being assessed on the basis of 60% quality and 40% price. Only those organisations that have answered all of the questions and provided all supporting documents satisfactorily in the Qualification Envelope will go on to have their tenders evaluated. Please submit all responses, via BravoSolution, by the tender deadline which is 1200 noon on Friday 29th November 2019 and the deadline for any clarification questions, also via BravoSolution, is 1200 noon on Monday 25th November 2019.
