SME Business Support for Hinkley Point C Supply Chain
Notice Description
Somerset County Council, as accountable body for the Heart of the South West and West of England Local Enterprise Partnership, will hold a supplier engagement event prior to commencing any procurement exercise. Supplier Event Announcement * Date - 5th September 2016 * Location - Weston-super-Mare * The supplier event will inform organisations of the scope of the project and proposed procurement process. * To register your interest in attending this event please give your expression of interest (EOI) through the contract listing available through https//:www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk SCC intends publishing an Contract Notice to commence the procurement exercise during 2016: * Purpose - To deliver an SME business support programme to enable SME's within the 2 LEP regions to access opportunities to be part of the HPC Supply Chain. * Duration - up to 3 years (36 months). There may be extension options dependant on funding sources and contract performance. * Value - the indicative value of the contract is given as PS2,000,000. Note - at the time of publishing this notice the funding contribution from the 2 LEPs is in the region of PS1,000,000. Further funding contributions may be realised from other participating authorities.
