Soft Market Test - Road Marking and Road Studs
Notice Description
Leicestershire County Council (The Council) are considering options for the replacement of The Council's current 'Superimposed Road Markings & Road Studs 2020' contract which expires on 31st March 2025. In its current format this is a single award contract for the installation, replacement and renewal of road markings and road studs to all classes of roads within the Leicestershire County Council, with an annual value of PS1,250,000. Please note that this is not a call for competition, and any information given above is not guaranteed within any subsequent procurement, only indicative of our potential requirements. Any future procurement will be subject to a separate advertisement. Before committing to any particular procurement method, contract type, or method of delivery, The Council is inviting appropriately qualified road marking industry organisations, i.e. active members of the Road Safety Markings Association (RSMA) or equivalent organisations only, to submit recommendations around the following subjects for The Council's consideration: * latest technologies, products & services * installation techniques * procurement methods * specifications * National Highways Sector Scheme 7 * STANSPEC 2022 * Fleet operator's accreditation * SSIP health & safety accreditation * safe working practices * efficiencies * added value * price inflation
