This requirement is to address reliability issues that have been affecting Birmingham City Centre Information (BCCI) Electronic Passenger Information (EPI) screens. This has been diagnosed as being due to the below three factors, • software issues, • 3G sunsetting causing all units to drop to a 2G connection and • antiquated controller boards.
