Home Improvement Service National Evaluation - Invitation to Tender
Notice Description
The Centre for Ageing Better is looking to commission an evaluation of different models of home improvement services across England. We anticipate the evaluation will run for 18 months, beginning in April 2023 when the contractor is appointed. The objectives of this evaluation are as follows: * Fill an evidence gap in research around home improvement services * Provide case studies of areas of best practice which are currently delivering high quality services * Demonstrate to national and local policy makers the impact of comprehensive home improvement services on individuals' health and wellbeing, and on wider housing, health and social care pressures. * Fill an evidence gap in research around the impact of home improvement services * Inspire local policy makers to improve their service offer using learning from case studies about how best to implement change * In order to achieve the above, we anticipate the evaluation will take part in 2 phases: 1. Mapping exercise of existing home improvement services 2. Evaluation of sample of best practice services We have a total budget of PS420,000 (excl. VAT) to cover both phases of the evaluation, however there is additional budget for dissemination activities. We would welcome bids from organisations or consortiums who can demonstrate capacity to deliver this project within the time and quality framework required. The deadline for responses to the Invitation to Tender is 6th March at 5pm. All communication should be sent to homesbids@ageing-better.org.uk Additional information: Deadline for submission is 5pm, 6th March.
