We lead, shape and fund health and care in England, making sure people have the support, care and treatment they need, with the compassion, respect and dignity they deserve. As part of its leadership of an EU Joint Action on Dementia work package on dementia friendly communities, DH requires a report describing the global evidence on dementia friendly communities as the first major deliverable of the work package and to inform later deliverables.
