Kirklees Council would like to procure a service to provide short term supported accommodation to include safety, security and life skills to males and females aged 21 years and over (the 'Service User') who are single,homeless, rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping and encourage them to develop the skills they require to successfully live independently in the future.

Kirklees Council would like to procure a service to provide short term supported accommodation to include safety, security and life skills to males and females aged 21 years and over (the 'Service User') who are single, homeless, rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping and encourage them to develop the skills they require to successfully live independently in the future. The successful tenderer (the 'Service Provider') will be expected to enter into a management agreement with the landlord of the residence to carry out housing management functions, such as completing tenancy agreements, collection of rent and making day to day repairs. This agreement will also include the service provider's license to operate within the residence. The service provider will receive a predetermined fee from the landlord for carrying out this function. Additional information: This exercise is a restricted procedure in accordance with the requirements under Regulation 28 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/102) for the purpose of procuring the service described in the 'Service Specification'. Renewal: It is anticipated that the contract will initially run for a period of 3 years with the successful service provider, with the provision to extend the contract by up to a maximum of 2 further 12-month periods. The anticipated commencement date of the contract is 1.11.2021.
