The Provision of Passenger Transport Services
Notice Description
The Council wishes to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Passenger Transport Services for adults and children and those with an identified requirement. The Transport Service currently provides a variety of transport options to over 700 Passengers on a daily basis. The majority of the passengers using the service have requirements related to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) with the service also supporting looked after children, children in temporary accommodation and other vulnerable groups
Lot Information
Lot 1
Stage1 Potential Providers wishing to join the DPS shall complete a Selection Questionnaire that is standard for all Potential Providers. All SQ submissions are evaluated on a pass fail basis to establish the Providers general capability to undertake the work. The evaluation reviews aspects of the Providers standing and ability based on this evaluation is either accepted onto the DPS or rejected. In the event of rejection the Provider can request feedback to enable them to re-apply at any stage during the validity period. All Providers who meet the selection criteria as stated in the SQ will be admitted to the DPS. There is no limit on the number of Providers that may join the DPS and can also apply to join the DPS at any point during its lifetime. Providers that have been excluded or rejected at any time may resubmit their updated details during the lifetime of the DPS.The publication of the SQ does not commit the Council to award any contract pursuant to any procurement process
Renewal: It is anticipated that this requirement will be retendered in four years time
