Notice Description

Border Force have a potential interest in the procurement of a used passenger coach to enhance their training capability. The coach would primarily be used at a training facility in the South East of England and would be the delivery address. High level specifications are to include the following: 1. The coach must have similarities with Pan -European specification to enable BF officers to be familiar with lay out and construction. 2. The coach must come fully serviced and maintained with current MOT 3. The coach must be in very good condition and robust enough for removing and replacing panel and trim. 4. Spare parts must be available form dealer network. Should Border Force proceed with this procurement, further details on technical specification will be made available.

The purpose of this notice is to alert the marketplace to a potential future opportunity to supply one used passenger coach to Border Force with the aim of enhancing their capabilities at the Border in the detection of prohibited goods. Technical specifications will be supplied in full, if on review of this market enagagement, Border Force decide to proceed to competition.
