Notice Description
Audley Primary School is a one-form entry school in Caterham. Parents and carers are some of the most important people in a child's life and they are committed to working together with them to ensure that every child achieves the best possible education. Their school motto of: 'A Journey to Excellence' is at the heart of everything they do in school and together with parents, carers, governors, and the local community, each and every child is encouraged to follow this principle. They are very proud of their school and everyone has a part to play in its success. It has wonderful grounds, is very well resourced and has excellent staff who use their expertise to extend the learning experiences of all pupils both in the classroom and in a range of extra-curricular clubs, trips, and activities.

Pupils Number Pupil Numbers: - by year group 214 KS1 90 KS2 124 Meal Type Volumes UIFSM Entitled: 90 FSM Entitled: 16 Staff Staff: 34 Service Time 11:55 - 13:15 Current Contractor Twelve 15 7.0 BASIC OBJECTIVES OF TENDER For the contractor to: - The School places huge importance to providing their students and staff with healthy, nutritious food that is compliant to the School Food Standards. - Ensure continued commitment to sustainable sourcing, fair trade and local sourcing as well as providing varied menus including plant based and gluten free to suit a diverse and growing demand for these diets. - Maintain and develop the 'dining experience' in the School ensuring that students eat a range of different foods, making healthy and informed choices, eating as a social activity, open to trying new foods etc. - To work with the School to promote school meals and increase uptake particularly for KS2. - To ensure the agreed staffing level is maintained without the use of agency staff. - To enter into an agreement that rewards the Contractor for continual improvements in their financial and operational performance as well as passing on any financial benefits to the School over and above any agreed guarantees.
