Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process outlined is being conducted by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd for the title "Pre Market Engagement: Dynamic Self Service Vending Machine Services." This initiative falls under the goods category, specifically focusing on vending machines, and is located in the UK. Currently in the planning stage, this process aims to gather insights from the market about existing Self-Service Vending (SSV) solutions before deciding on a formal tender. Notably, interested suppliers should be aware that the future notice date for potential further engagement is set for 10 May 2021.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses that specialise in innovative vending solutions, particularly those offering advanced functionalities beyond traditional products. Companies capable of showcasing modern, versatile SSV machines, as well as those with capabilities to maximise revenue sharing or explore sponsorship avenues, will be well-positioned to respond. As Network Rail prepares for a potential tender, suppliers in the vending, technology, and service sectors should consider this engagement as a strategic avenue to expand their operations within the railway infrastructure domain.
