Procurement Information
This requirement is going to be placed using an established Framework (Dstl R-cloud). The requirement also falls within the exemption in regulation 7(1)(l) allowing the authority to award the contract without a competition. Recital 55 of the Directive provides that "the importance of research and development in this specific field [of defence and security] justifies maximum flexibility in the award of contracts for research and development."
