Notice Description
NHS Supply Chain are looking to put a Biopsy framework agreement in place. Currently, the extent of the scope of the proposed framework agreement is unknown, however, we are looking to understand the biopsy market in its entirety to determine a framework agreement which meets the needs of the NHS and changing technologies. Products could include Biopsy Needles, Vacuum Assisted Biopsy Equipment & Accessories inc. Transperineal Prostate Access Devices, this is not an exhaustive list. Please include other products which you think fall within the scope of this exercise. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of PS7.5m to PS10.5m in the first year of this Framework Agreement, this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement.The estimated value over the total Framework Agreement term (including any extension options) is PS42m and includes a forecast for growth.
Lot Information
Biopsy Needles and related consumables & Accessories
Products within this lot could include but not limited to, Biopsy Needles, including Core Soft Tissue Needles, FNA, Bone Marrow & Accessories including Transperineal Prostate Access Devices, Guide Wires & Tissue markers. This is not exhaustive, please include any other product types which you think fall within the scope of this exercise. Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of PS4.5m to PS7 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement.
Biopsy Equipment & related consumables and accessoriesProducts within this lot could include but not limited to, Equipment used to perform biopsies such as Vacuum Assisted Biopsy Devices or equipment used within the patient pathway for biopsies. This would not include any radiology equipment or diagnostic equipment. This would include all related accessories and consumables for the equipment. This is not exhaustive, please include any other product types which you think fall within the scope of this exercise. Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of PS3m in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement.
