Summary of the contracting process

The Norfolk County Council is in the planning stage of a tender titled "Water Damage Restoration Services," classified under sewage, refuse, cleaning and environmental services. This procurement is aimed at establishing a framework agreement for contractors who will provide restoration services for water damage across approximately 1,600 insured premises in Norfolk, UK. Interested businesses can express their interest electronically and are encouraged to register on the council's e-procurement system before the future notice date of 13 April 2021.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in environmental services and restoration, particularly those experienced in handling various scales of water damage. Companies that provide cleaning, restoration, and general contractor services would be well-positioned to compete for this framework agreement. Engaging in this tender could not only enhance service offerings but also potentially lead to sustained contracts with a regional authority responsible for maintaining public infrastructure.
