Summary of the contracting process

The Warwickshire County Council is pursuing an active procurement process for the "Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Service," which falls under the category of social work and related services. This initiative aims to establish a single provider that will support victim-survivors of domestic violence and abuse throughout Warwickshire. The overall contract value is £7,000,000, and the procurement method employed is an open procedure. The tender period has recently concluded, with submissions being accepted until 20 April 2021, and the contract is set to span 1800 days from the signing date, which was on 8 June 2021.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses within the social services sector, particularly those specialising in domestic violence support, advocacy, and accommodation services. Companies that are well-positioned to compete for this contract include non-profits, social enterprises, and consultancies focusing on health and social work services. With a requirement for both accommodation-based support for female victims and a single point of contact for wider outreach and advocacy, organisations that can deliver comprehensive and adaptable services will be particularly advantageous in this procurement process.
