Notice Description

The BFI London Film Festival taking place 6 October 2021 - 17 October 2021. In 2019, The 63rd BFI London Film Festival welcomed audiences of over 161,059 across 17 London cinema sites during 12 days, as well as an additional UK-wide audience. The festival screened a total of 233 fiction and documentary features, including 28 world premieres, 12 international premieres and 32 European Premieres, from 78 countries. It welcomed 868 filmmaker guests over half of which came from international territories. An integral part of the festival operation is the transport of guests and important staff around the festival's main venues, guest accommodation and airport/train stations. A total of 1400 car journeys were made during the 2019 edition of the festival. For the 2021,edition of the festival, it is estimated that this will be divided between taxi services (standard and executive) and as-directed chauffer services. However, actual requirements will vary from year to year based on the size and scope of the festival

Lot Information

Lot 1 - Taxi Services

Provision of 24/7 taxi services across the festival including airport meet and greet services, for the festival's guests. Taxi services in London should have a maximum response time of 15minutes. The ideal supplier will be able to demonstrate a commitment to sustainable, low emission vehicles.

Renewal: Initial one year contract with the option to renew for up to an additional two x one years. (BFI London Film Festival 2021, 2022 and 2023)

Lot 2 - Chauffer Services

Chauffeur services for BFI London Film Festival guests. A minimum of 10 vehicles will be required at peak times, covering a total of 1,900 hours during the festival. Hours of service: 9am - 2am (in some circumstances drivers may be required to service until 3am and from 6am)

Renewal: Initial one year contract with the option to renew for up to an additional two x one years. (BFI London Film Festival 2021, 2022 and 2023)
