Summary of the contracting process

NHS Supply Chain, operated by DHL Supply Chain Limited, is conducting a tender for a non-exclusive Framework Agreement titled "Pressure Infusers and Associated Products." This procurement falls under the healthcare sector, specifically involving devices and instruments for transfusion and infusion, with an anticipated contract value of approximately £3.6 million over a potential duration of 48 months. Interested suppliers must engage through the NHS Supply Chain eProcurement portal. The procurement process is currently in the **Award** stage, having completed the submission period; contracts for Disposable Single Patient Use and Reusable Pressure Infusers were signed on 25th April 2022.

This Framework Agreement presents significant business opportunities primarily for suppliers in the medical devices sector, particularly those specialising in infusion products. Companies that manufacture or distribute pressure infusers, especially those with a focus on quality and cost efficiency, will find themselves well-positioned to compete. As the procurement method is open, a variety of suppliers, from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to larger corporations, can participate, ensuring a competitive landscape. Successful bidders will not only gain access to NHS Supply Chain's considerable purchasing power but also potentially secure long-term contracts that could enhance their market presence.
