The London Borough of Redbridge is seeking market engagement intelligence for the provision of Falls Prevention Service. This exercise will assist the service model development process. The Falls Prevention service is commissioned in Redbridge as evidence demonstrates that people aged 65 years and older are at an increased risk of falling, with 30% of people over the age of 65 and 50% of people over the age of 80 falling at least once a year. Falls prevention services aim to reduce people's chance of falling by tackling risk factors, improving strength and balance allowing people to remain well and live independently at home. This survey seeks to look at how providers have worked with an older adult population to prevent falls specifically at home, identify needs and gather ideas on how we can respond to support people in the future. All information provided within the response will be kept confidential. The information provided is not "evaluated" or scored in any way and is not part of a procurement process. Responses are to be submitted via the London Tenders Portal by 5pm Monday 26th July 2021.
