Centre based ('fixed'), outreach and detached youth programmes
Notice Description
Young Hackney part of The London Borough of Hackney Children's and Families Service is currently in the process of exploring ways in which existing resources can be used to potentially enhance partnership working across a range of universal, sport, targeted play and youth work programmes for children and young people aged 6-19 (and up to 25 for young people with SEND) The Council wishes to consult with providers across the sector and has organised a 'market engagement' event to assist in shaping its commissioning process which, in turn, will be used to inform a re-procurement of these services.

Young Hackney, part of The London Borough of Hackney Children's and Families Service, is currently in the process of exploring ways in which existing resources can be used to potentially enhance partnership working across a range of universal, sport, targeted play and youth work programmes for children and young people aged 6-19 (and up to 25 for young people with SEND) The Council now wishes to consult with providers across the sector and has organised a 'market engagement' event to assist in shaping its commissioning process which, in turn, will be used to inform a re-procurement of these services. We will be seeking to engage a wide range of providers to respond to the more specific needs of Hackney's diverse communities. The market engagement event will take place on 30th July 2021 via the Google Meets Platform.Further details about our requirements will be forwarded to those organisations who express an interest. Providers will be given the opportunity to not only listen to the Council's vision, but to contribute to the discussion on how the Council can help with: - Proactively developing local knowledge and relationships - Using resources to best support children, families and communities. If you would like to participate in this unique even and receive more information, please register your interest via the messaging function on this portal. Interested organisations are requested to state their area of expertise.
