Summary of the contracting process

Bristol City Council is currently engaged in a tender process for the "Changing Futures" programme, aimed at improving local services and systems for adults facing multiple disadvantages. This programme, classified under health and social work services, has an estimated value of between £1.9 and £2.3 million over three years, with the possibility of a two-year extension. Expressions of interest are being sought, with a deadline for submission set for 2nd August 2021 at 12:00 pm. A Pre-Tender event is scheduled for 28th July to discuss the tender further.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for organisations skilled in addressing complex social issues, particularly those that are innovative and collaborative by nature. Businesses with expertise in tackling homelessness, domestic abuse, substance misuse, and mental health concerns will be particularly well-suited to compete, especially if they can demonstrate a capacity for systemic change in partnership with others. The council is looking to appoint a lead delivery partner that reflects the diversity and needs of the priority groups outlined in the programme.
