Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (the commissioner) is seeking to commission a Echocardiography service for patients registered with a GP in Oxfordshire. The successful provider will deliver a safe and clinically effective service providing rapid local access to diagnostic echocardiograms for patients including ambulatory rhythm monitoring and demand management. The community-based service will adopt a whole system approach to the delivery of care that is safe, effective, patient centred and equitable. Accepting referrals from GPs, Heart Failure Diagnosis and Advice service and ambulatory care units whilst fully co-ordinating with the ICS. The initial contract term will be for 3 years from 1st March 2022, with an optional extension of any period(s) up to a maximum of a further 2 years, as defined and at the discretion of the commissioners. The financial envelope is PS280,000 per annum. This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.

The financial envelope is PS280,000 per annum. This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.
