Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process involves Festival UK 2022, a prominent contracting authority based in Birmingham, which is seeking Evaluation & Research Services for the Festival UK* 2022 and the Birmingham 2022 Cultural Programme. This tender falls under the 'Research and development services and related consultancy services' category and is currently at the active tender stage. Key deadlines include the bid opening on 20th September 2021. The procurement method utilised is an open procedure, inviting a broad array of suppliers to submit their proposals for the various lots, which include a single supplier for primary evaluation and research, as well as a framework for specialised research suppliers.

This tender presents significant opportunities for growth, especially for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that specialise in research and development services. Businesses offering qualitative and quantitative research capabilities would be particularly well-suited to compete for these contracts, as the successful suppliers will play a critical role in shaping the evaluation of major cultural events occurring in the UK. Companies experienced in project management and consultancy related to large-scale festivals and cultural programmes would likely find this procurement appealing and aligned with their expertise.
