Notice Description
Northumbrian Water Limited (NWL) has the requirement for Electricity & Gas supplies across its operational areas. The contract will be split into two lots: Lot 1 - Electricity Lot 2 - Gas NWL is a major user of electricity with 495 Half Hourly import meters and 1,390 Non-Half Hourly import supplies. It also has 18 Half Hourly electricity export meters. NWL requires a Supplier/exporter of electricity, for the portfolio. The requirement is for gas supply contracts for 28 supplies covering import and export of gas. The contract has an estimated annual value of PS4M/year (estimated gross of any payments to NWL for gas export). It is mandatory for the winning contractor of each lot to take on all supplies as part of that lot under this contract.

Options: The period of any contract(s) resulting from this procurement will be 48 months from the contract start date. The start date shall be 01 April 2022. The length of the contract may be extended by negotiation with the supplier for a maximum period of 72 months, comprising of two individual extensions each of 36 months.
