Notice Description
Halton Borough Council is responsible for commissioning services to promote the health and wellbeing of the residents of Halton with the aim of improving public health outcomes and reducing health inequalities for individuals across the life course. Through this specification the Commissioners seek to work in partnership to plan and commission the delivery of the Specialist Community Substance Misuse Community Service (Adults). Our vision is to have a modern, integrated, recovery orientated, substance misuse treatment system for individuals, carers and families in Halton who need support to recover from substance misuse and to get their lives back on track. TUPE will apply to this service.

Through this specification the Commissioners seek to work in partnership to plan and commission the delivery of the Specialist Community Substance Misuse Community Service (Adults). Our vision is to have a modern, integrated, recovery orientated, substance misuse treatment system for individuals, carers and families in Halton who need support to recover from substance misuse and to get their lives back on track. TUPE will apply to this service. Additional information: Initial contract period-3 years. 2x12 month extensions available, to be given at the discretion of the Council. Estimated contract value is based on both 12 months extensions being given. If no extensions are offered the contract value would reduce to approx. GBP 4200000. If only one extension is offered then the estimated contract value would be GBP 5600000.
