Notice Description

UKAEA wishes to engage with potential vacuum pump manufacturers and suppliers for the supply of vacuum pumps, controllers and associated cabling in a range of sizes for use with tritium. These pumps will be for use in a number of sub-systems that will make up the Tritium Plant located within the new H3AT Facility currently in construction on the UKAEA Culham site. The main types of pumps for consideration within this PIN are Turbomolecular and Metal-Bellows pumps. The pumps should be commercial off the shelf (COTS) models, where achievable. COTS units with minor modifications to ensure tritium compatibility, modified off the shelf (MOTS), would also be acceptable.
