Summary of the contracting process

The NHS Leeds CCG is planning a procurement process entitled "Prior Information Notice for Leeds Intermediate Care Remodelling programme," aiming to establish a new model of Intermediate Care in Leeds, with a focus on health and social work services. An engagement event to discuss the initiative will take place virtually on 4th November 2021, with the intention of co-designing the service model during 2022/23, leading to operational implementation by April 2023. Stakeholders are encouraged to express their interest for participation in this early planning phase, although registration does not guarantee involvement in future tenders.

This procurement presents a significant opportunity for businesses offering health and social care services, particularly those capable of delivering integrated care solutions. Organisations specialising in home-based care, rehabilitation services, and those with experience in collaboration with health authorities will be particularly well-suited to engage in this process. The focus on an integration model also opens avenues for partnerships aimed at improving care delivery and patient outcomes in the Leeds area, fostering growth for businesses ready to adapt and innovate in response to new health care demands.
