Cardiac Theatre Nursing Staff Teams
Notice Description
GJNH require a single supplier to provide Cardiac Theatre Nursing Staff Teams. Teams will consist of the following staff: -Anaesthetic practitioner x 1 (RN band 5 or 6) -Theatre Assistant/HCSW x 1 (Band 2 or 3) -Theatre Scrub Practitioner x 1 (RN or ODP band 5/6) -Circulating Nurse/ODP x 1 (band 4/5/6) (must be able to scrub for the speciality) N.B. The following is mandatory: -The Theatre Scrub Practitioner (Band 5/6) must work with Band 4 Scrub/Circulating practitioner. -The Circulating Nurse/ODP x 1 (band 4/5/6) must be able to scrub for the specialty. Contract start date is 10th January 2022. The contract duration will be for 11 weeks, with an option to extend for 2 x 13 week periods at the Boards discretion.

The following is mandatory: -The Theatre Scrub Practitioner (Band 5/6) must work with Band 4 Scrub/Circulating practitioner. -The Circulating Nurse/ODP x 1 (band 4/5/6) must be able to scrub for the speciality. This tender is to provide Teams for up to 2 days per week. Please see the following options: Option A - 1 day per week Option B - 2 days per week Option C - Saturday N.B. The preferred option will be agreed with the successful supplier. It is possible a combination of all three options above are selected. However, this will be no more than a maximum for 2 days per week. Theatre start and finish times are as follows: - Monday to Friday - 07:30 till 20:00 Saturday - 07:30- till 18:30
Renewal: 2 x 13 week periods at the Boards discretion.
