Market Engagement for Residential & Funded Nursing Care Services at Beachcroft Care Home
Notice Description
Westminster City Council (the "Authority") will be embarking on the recommissioning of a Residential & Funded Nursing Care Service within Beachcroft Care Home. This follows an open tender exercise earlier this year where the Authority did not award a contract. Previous market engagement has been undertaken where the Authority hosted a virtual market engagement event providing an opportunity to discuss and seek feedback from interested service providers on the service model and how these services can be delivered in the future. This market engagement will be: * An opportunity for service providers to visit our flagship purpose-built 84 bed care home * Explore the configuration of the home

Westminster City Council (the Authority) requires service providers of residential and dementia care to support vulnerable adults who have been assessed as having eligible need that could be effectively supported in a care home setting and have a legal right to live in a care home of their choice under the Care and Support (Choice of Accommodation) Regulations 2014 No 2670 and any subsequent amendments. As part of the second stage of our market engagement, service providers with experience of delivering these types of services are invited to complete a market engagement feedback form and are offered the opportunity to visit the care home. The aim of the market engagement is: * An opportunity for service providers to visit our flagship purpose-built 84 bed care home * Explore the configuration of the home To register your expression of interest and complete the questionnaire please kindly visit our e-tendering portal; www.capitalesourcing.com and search for the following reference: pqq_WCC_1723 by 09:00 on 22 November 2021. Site visits are anticipated to be held on week commencing 22nd November 2021. The visits will be individual per service provider organisation lasting for a duration of up to 1 hour with a maximum of two attendees. Time slots for the visit will need to be arranged in advance of the visit via the e-tending portal by 15:00 on 17 November 2021. All visitors will need to be fully vaccinated, take a Lateral Flow Test on arrival and be able to present evidence of vaccination status before entering the property. If you have any questions regarding this market engagement, please submit these through the e-tendering portal. In July 2021 the council published a Prior Information Notice which can be accessed via PIN Notice Number: 2021/S 000-017433. https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/017433-2021 Information and documents from the previous market engagement which took place in August 2021 can be found within the attachments section of pqq_WCC_1723 within our e-tending portal. This market engagement involved a Market Engagement Event and individual virtual Q&A sessions. If you have previously registered your interest to pqq_WCC_1666 please do so again to pqq_WCC_1723. Please note: * Participation in these engagement events will not exclusively include or preclude any service provider from participating in any further competition. * Participation in these engagement events should not give rise to expectations that service providers will have an agreement to make service offers to the Authority. * Full details of the service requirements will be published with the tender documents as part of the ITT. * This is not a guarantee of further competition. The Authority reserves the right, at its own discretion, to withdraw from the process and pursue alternative routes for the provision of this service, should it decide to do so. * The Authority will not reimburse service providers for any expenses incurred as a result of participating in these engagement opportunities.
