Bath and North East Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (BSWCCG) is going to award a contract to Banes Enhanced Medical Services + Limited (BEMS+) to deliver GP with Extended Role (GPwER) Dermatology Services to patients within Bath and North East Somerset. The provider has a good track record of providing services within this locality and the continuation of this service will ensure a continuation of a high quality of service delivery, patient experience and referring-GP satisfaction. BEMS+ have provided these services over the past 4 years and the commissioner believes that that this provider is best placed to continue to build upon work already achieved with the locality. The dermatology service offers GPwER sessions, a nurse-led clinical and isotretinoin clinic. The contract has an annualised value of PS194,000 and will be award a contract term of 5 years with the possible extension of any period up to a further 2 years at the discretion of the Commissioner. The Services are healthcare services within the meaning and scope of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
