Notice Description

Bath and North East Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (BSWCCG) is going to award a contract to GP Care UK Limited to deliver Urology Services. The provider will continue to provide a community-based consultant-led urology service for the population of Swindon. The aim of this service is to see, diagnose and as appropriate, treat urology patients who do not need to attend the local acute trust, in a timely manner. This common link is an essential component of the service. The contract has an annualised value of PS310,000 and will be award a contract term of 5 years with the possible extension of any period up to a further 2 years at the discretion of the Commissioner. The Services are healthcare services within the meaning and scope of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The Commissioner has voluntarily advertised this notice of intention to award this contract to reach as wide an audience as possible and to promote transparency and in line with regulation 32(2)(b)(ii).
