Notice Title
Early Engagement Notice: Domestic Violence and Abuse Services for Bristol
Notice Description
Bristol City Council intends to commission domestic violence and abuse services. This is not an invitation to tender or an expression of interest process. The reason for this notice is to do the following - 1. Inform the market about the consultation that is open between 8/12/2021 and 31/1/2022. We welcome views for a diverse body of providers. Please use this link to access the consultation. https://bristol.citizenspace.com/public-health/domestic-and-sexual-violence-services-consultation/ 2. In order to facilitate the collaborative type bids allowed in the procurement process we have developed a tool for potential providers. This will give potential providers time to consider and search for potential partners for collaboration. The tool is attached in the E-tendering system procontract. You can upload the details you want to share with potential collaborators in procontract. Here is a link to the ProContract system. https://procontract.due-north.com/Procurer/Advert/AdvertSummary?projectId=2792f3f9-c238-ec11-810e-005056b64545&projectStepId=3692f3f9-c238-ec11-810e-005056b64545 You can also send details that you wish to share with other potential collaborators to wanda.knight@bristol.gov.uk.
Lot Information
Lot 1
A Partnership Approach BCC also wants to inform the market about its approach to the commissioning of the services. Our contracting arrangements allow for collaboration between organisations to deliver services by a lead partnership or a severally liable partnership arrangement. Collaboration between organisations brings a number of benefits to service delivery. * Provides a coherent and more simplistic service offer to the service user. For example a one gateway approach. * Increases the expertise available to address the complex issue of domestic abuse. * Increases diversity to meet the need of a wider range of service users. * Brings access to a wider group of stakeholders. * Allows smaller VCSE organisations to be involved in the service delivery. * Brings economies of scale. In order to support organisations to form partnerships to bid for these contracts we have developed a document to help potential partners to consider the pros and cons involved in the process. The Opportunity The opportunity will be advertised through the procontract E-tendering system. If you are interested in collaboration you may want to be contacted by other interested parties. One option is to upload to procontract or email your details to the address on this notice and they will be included with the tender docs. Alternatively look out for further information on our web pages and on procontract for messages and events.
