Furniture Collection for Reuse Service
Notice Description
The purpose of the service is to ensure that reusable items of furniture are not sent to Energy from Waste facilities or landfill but collected and re-sold at affordable prices to members of the public in Hackney with a focus to reach vulnerable residents and households on low incomes. The expected deliverables include: A maximum of 1,300 collections per year A minimum of 40 tonnes of furniture diverted from direct disposal and reused per year

The purpose of the service is to ensure that reusable items of furniture are not sent to Energy from Waste facilities or landfill but collected and re-sold at affordable prices to members of the public in Hackney with a focus to reach vulnerable residents and households on low incomes.. The expected deliverables include: A maximum of 1,300 collections per year A minimum of 40 tonnes of furniture diverted from direct disposal and reused per year
Options: The contract to be entered into will have an initial duration of 2 years with an option to extend for a further period or periods of up to 4 more years subject to performance and need for service
