Summary of the contracting process

Doncaster Children's Services Trust Limited is procuring managed service provision for a team of children's social workers through a tender for health and social work services. The procurement process is currently in the Award stage, and the contract duration is set for 90 days, running from 20th October 2021 to 18th March 2022. The procurement method utilised is a limited tender approach, as it is deemed critical to address staffing shortages in social work due to employee departures. Key contact for this procurement is Sarah Caudwell, reachable at +44 1302735469 or via email at sarah.caudwell@dcstrust.co.uk.

This opportunity exemplifies a niche for businesses specialising in recruitment services, particularly those that can provide social workers on a temporary basis. Companies able to quickly mobilise a team, particularly within the healthcare and social services sector, will find this tender advantageous. Given the contract's urgent nature, businesses operating under frameworks which facilitate speedy response could effectively serve the needs of Doncaster Children's Services Trust Limited while also expanding their portfolio in public sector contracts.
