STEP have recently completed a key delivery milestone (CML 3.5). A range of options have been considered and down selected to a direction of travel with respect to the STEP Power Plant design. A number of key decisions remain to be made; however a preferred concept is taking shape and is now being developed. The next major milestone is the completion of STEP Tranche 1 and CML 5 by March 31st 2024. While UKAEA and the STEP programme are fusion technology specialists, we require a collaborative and experienced engineering delivery partner to ensure the successful completion of Tranche 1 and CML
