Notice Description
Brighton and Hove City Council is seeking to commission a service that delivers a Cancer Awareness and Early Diagnosis Service to help improve cancer outcomes in the Brighton and Hove city area.The purpose of the service is to increase early diagnosis by:* Increasing awareness, knowledge and confidence about the signs and symptoms of cancer.* Increasing awareness of, and number of people attending NHS Cancer Screening Programmes.* Working with other organisations in the city to raise knowledge and awareness of cancer.* Targeting engagement in deprived communities and tailoring communications to specific audiences.* Incorporate the use of digitally enabled care to help patients and their carers manage their health. A number of organisations have been commissioned to provide cancer prevention services and local awareness campaigns in the city, and the successful bidder will need to build on this work.
