The Office of Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) informed Local Authorities of their intention to award indicative sums of additional funding to support improvements in the quality and capacity of local drug and alcohol treatment systems in 2022/23 to 2024/25. The budget is not confirmed and may be between PS2m and PS9m, however the requirement for bids is needed urgently to respond to the OHID, consequently the procedure is being run with short indicative timelines, and an estimated tender return deadline of early May 2022.
