Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process involves Westminster City Council and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, who are planning to recommission their Family Group Conferencing Services. The project falls within the health and social work services category and has a total value of £620,000. The planned procurement stage indicates that the tender is currently in its initial phases, with a future notice expected on 1st August 2022. The tender seeks providers who can deliver high-quality services that offer value for money and will be primarily used by Family Services within these two authorities.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses operating within the health and social care sector, particularly those with experience in family support services and social work. Companies that specialise in early intervention models and have a strong track record of engaging families in the social care process would be well-suited to compete. Interested providers are encouraged to participate in a supplier engagement event on 10th May 2022 to discuss the boroughs' vision and to share their insights on delivering a sustainable and effective service for local residents.
