Summary of the contracting process

The Western Health and Social Care Trust is initiating a re-procurement for the provision of domiciliary care services within its region, specifically focusing on Lot 4, which includes Lisnaskea. This tender is part of an overall procurement strategy under the category of other community, social, and personal services, classified under the CPV code 98000000. Due to delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Trust has extended the current contract, which will now run until 31st January 2024. The tender process is currently in the tendering stage, having been facilitated through established procurement regulations.

This re-procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses in the health and social care sector, particularly those specialising in domiciliary care services. Companies capable of delivering quality care and support are encouraged to participate, notably larger companies and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the community care industry. This ongoing service requirement not only aims to ensure the continuity of care but also invites potential suppliers to position themselves as key providers in a critical healthcare framework.
