School overview: To inspire and empower all our students to realise their full potential and Be The Best They Can Be. Our school ethos is based on traditional values, including students' personal development and well-being as well as outstanding academic achievement. We also place equal importance on exemplary behaviour, smart appearance, good manners as well as encouraging all of our students to make a positive contribution to their school and local community. Gaining excellent exam results are not enough on their own to help our students face everyday life situations in the 21st century. Throughout their time in school our students develop the skills and attributes that are key to empowering them to be successful fully rounded individuals. Students will then go onto flourish in every aspect of their lives and leave us responsible, well rounded young people who are able to choose their own future well equipped and ready to make a difference in the world. Tender information: The tender project is seeking to appoint a contractor whose initiative and innovation will be welcomed for the provision of cleaning services within the facilities for the school. The high-quality service levels proposed, should maintain excellent standards throughout, resulting in a pleasant environment for both the pupils and staff. The basis and rationale that the Client requires the successful contractor to operate to at all times, is being able to provide a School that is fit for purpose and that the Contractor is proactive in the management of the contract, thus ensuring that all specifications are achieved and that the frequency of cleans is as detailed within the Tender Specification. The contract being tendered is for the period 24th October 2022 to 31st July 2025, with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years at the discretion of the client. The contract will be fixed price in nature, with the Contractor invoicing the Client for one-twelfth of the annual cost on a monthly basis. It should be noted that the successful contractor will be expected to bring to the contract: innovation; new equipment; and cleaning methods, with BICSc standards being achieved, as a minimum, thus ensuring that the highest levels of cleanliness are maintained in all areas at all times and also ensuring that the productivity of the cleaning operatives is enhanced moving forward into the new contract term. Current cleaning arrangement: The current cleaning services are provided in house. There are incumbent members of cleaning staff who are members of the LGPS. We currently have an external company and casual members of staff providing additional cleaning support who are not members of the LGPS.
