Notice Description

The Council employs a building maintenance division called BTS which is also a trading arm of the Council. They use direct labour as well as sub-contractors The purpose of this tender is to set up a frame work of suppliers for the supply only of various residential doors with the view to awarding a primary provider for each lot. The supply of doors is predominantly for planned work and refurbishment projects however there will be occasion for a quick 'turn around' door of various types which is covered in lot 4. A provider can bid for all or individual lots but will be expected to provide ALL door types if bidding for lot 4 as detailed in the pricing document. All quantities in the pricing document are annual indicative quantities. The Councils financial year runs from April to March so some doors will already have been ordered for the 2022-23 program so volumes will be lower this year. There are also no guaranteed volumes for all requirements on this contract at any time

The supply and delivery only of non-fire rated composite entrance doors in white. The most common style is ED1 but ED2 and ED3 are sometimes required. For door styles see 'SD2 Door Styles' and the pricing document. NOTE :- Expected delivery time is 6 weeks

fire rated composite entrance doors

The supply and delivery only of fire rated composite entrance doors. FD4 in Blue RAL 5011 For door styles see 'SD2 Door Styles' and the pricing document. NOTE :- Expected delivery time is 6 weeks

shed doors and side gates

The supply and delivery only of shed doors SD5 and side gates standard height SD6 and low height SD7 in green HEX 14397. The majority of gates will be the standard height. For door styles see 'SD2 Door Styles' and the pricing document. NOTE :- Expected delivery time is 6 weeks

Emergency Supply of Doors

Quick turn around 'one off' - the supply and delivery only of door types- non fire rated composite ED1 and ED2. UPVC front and back doors plus the option of supplying these four door types with a low threshold for disabled adaptations. For door styles see 'SD2 Door Styles' and the pricing document. NOTE :- Expected delivery time is 1 week for PVCu doors with or without low threshold and 3 weeks for composite doors with or without out low threshold
