Summary of the contracting process

The Procurement for Housing (PfH) is planning a tender for the "Domestic and Commercial Appliances" framework, aimed at establishing a multiple supplier agreement for the supply of various appliances. This procurement falls under the goods category and is expected to have a total value of £60,000,000. The framework will include options for purchase, rental, installation, removal, and recycling of appliances and is set to go live with market engagement on 11th July 2022 following the expiration of the existing framework in November 2022. The scope of the tender encompasses both domestic and commercial appliances across the UK, and further details on the lots will be provided in the official contract notice.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the supply, installation, and maintenance of domestic and commercial appliances, including but not limited to electrical appliances, medical equipment, and commercial catering solutions. Companies involved in the manufacturing, rental, or service provision of appliances and associated equipment would be particularly well-suited to compete. Engaging in this framework will not only allow businesses to extend their market reach but also enhance their service offerings to a diverse range of public sector stakeholders across the UK.
