Lot Information

Lot 1

Essex County Council Public Health are committed to developing the highest quality service for their residents. This new contract will build on current innovations in the Essex sexual health service and address findings highlighted in a recent sexual health needs assessment. It will recognise that the prevalence of poor sexual health disproportionately affects those living in less prosperous areas as well as other population groups. The service will be delivered through a place-based working approach, joining up with partners to deliver better care that meets the needs of residents, and in turn reducing health inequalities. ECC expects the service to benchmark as one of the best nationally and will be managed through an open book contract management (OBCM) approach. Additional information: Providers are advised that the indicative budget for this service and any publication dates within this notice remains subject to confirmation and the Council will confirm the final financial envelope and publication date for this service in the corresponding contract notice prior to the publication of the procurement. There is the potential for an additional 20% of the overall contract value (equating to an additional 1.8 million should the contract be varied in its lifetime for service requirements.
