Diamond Learning Partnership Trust - ICT Managed Service
Notice Description
The Diamond Learning Partnership Trust (DLPT) is a Trust of 14 Academies encompassing c.3,461 pupils. These are located in two key areas, around St Neots and the Fens. As a Trust we work with partners across the sector to seek out, develop, implement and share best practice. This is facilitated though a strong collaborative network of professionals. We believe passionately in sector led improvement and embrace world class systems, maximise sharing of resources, expertise, knowledge and opportunity within the Diamond family and beyond. Ensuring all children make good or better progress in reading, writing and numeracy will be one of the core purposes. All staff will consistently and energetically use the most effective methods for teaching these basic skills. High quality training, from leading experts in literacy and numeracy teaching, will equip them to do so. Underpinning this is: * outstanding day-to-day teaching, assessment and marking of children's work * first-rate systems for tracking, identifying and celebrating children's progress * an exciting, relevant and inspiring curriculum so that it meets the needs of all children * excellent support for every child, so that all children achieve highly regardless of their background * outstanding, determined, resolute leadership where high expectations are communicated to all * strong governance where governors and senior leaders set a clear direction and provide strong leadership. In essence, this procurement is all about identifying a single supplier to provide a fully outsourced managed service. At the sole discretion of the Trust any future schools that the Trust may incorporate into the Trust will also be added to the ICT contract. Any additional schools will co-terminate to the end same end date of the initial contract. Further details regarding timescales are noted below but in summary this is advertised as a 60 month contract with a maximum 5 year managed service with start and end dates as follows: * Service start date - 19th December 2022 (1st day of Christmas Holidays 2022) * Service end date - 18th December 2027 For the purposes of this shortlisting stage bidders should assume that the ITT will include, but not be limited to; * strategic advice and direction to the Trust regarding ICT * a 42 week onsite service - Primary Sites * a 50 week onsite service - King James * a re-active onsite support service for the Trust administrative and management staff based on 50 weeks pa. (Middlefield x 6 staff / Winhills x 6 staff / Wintringham x 2) * service desk - full time except Bank Holidays * local staffing that bidders deem necessary to deliver the SLA.
