Summary of the contracting process

The Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, in collaboration with other local authorities, is currently in the tendering phase for the "10427-Adoption Support Services FPS" procurement process, which falls under the health and social work services category. This initiative offers a budget of approximately £45 million and aims to establish a framework of approved providers capable of delivering therapeutic services to support families and children in need. The submission deadline for tenders is set for 18 July 2022, with the procurement conducted via a selective method following a restricted procedure.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in therapeutic services, particularly those accredited in child psychology, clinical assessments, and related fields. Companies with experience in the health and social care sector, especially those that can demonstrate a capability to deliver specialist assessments and therapeutic support, will find the framework offers a lucrative chance to engage with multiple local councils, thus potentially expanding their market presence and client base.
