Summary of the contracting process

The London Borough of Newham is seeking to enhance youth services through a tender titled "Youth Services." This procurement falls under the health and social work services category and is currently in the planning stage. The council aims to deliver a comprehensive youth service that engages over 90,000 children and young people in Newham. Interested parties should note that a meet-the-buyer event is scheduled for the afternoon of 29th June 2022, which will provide valuable insights into the tender requirements and expectations. Tenders may be submitted for one or multiple lots, with no more than four lots awarded to a single contractor.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses involved in youth services, including organisations that excel in community engagement, education, and social work. Given the Mayor's commitment to co-producing high-quality youth offerings, firms that can provide diverse, inclusive activities and programmes tailored to the local demographic are particularly well-suited to compete. Entities that specialise in empowering young people and fostering community development will likely find this opportunity appealing and aligned with their mission.
