Summary of the contracting process

Home Fix Scotland is currently inviting tenders for the "uPVC Windows & Doors Supply Framework," an initiative aimed at securing suppliers for the provision of windows and doors in the Inverclyde area. The procurement process is at the tender stage, with submission deadlines set for 29 July 2022. This open procedure allows for electronic submissions through the Public Contracts Scotland platform. The project encompasses goods within the housing and community amenities sector, specifically under the main classification of windows.

This tender presents significant opportunities for suppliers in the building materials and construction sector, especially businesses specialising in uPVC products, window manufacturing, or related construction services. Companies that can demonstrate relevant experience and offer tangible community benefits, such as targeted recruitment and environmental initiatives, may find themselves in a strong position to compete successfully. The contract also encourages innovative solutions in line with the community-focused approach of Home Fix Scotland, a not-for-profit housing provider.
