Summary of the contracting process

Translink is initiating a market engagement exercise for LEV Testing, Inspection and Maintenance, classified under ventilation consultancy services. The buying organisation, based in Carryduff, UK, aims to gather market intelligence to inform future procurement strategies, even though this process is currently at the planning stage. Interested suppliers must submit their contact details to Mike Kerr via email by 3pm on Friday, 12th August 2022, with a future notice date for further engagement set for 1st September 2022. It is important to note that this notice does not initiate a formal tender and is not associated with any financial commitments.

This market engagement offers a prime opportunity for businesses specialising in maintenance services and health and safety compliance, particularly those that can provide Local Exhaust Ventilation testing and related services. Companies positioned to thrive in this tender are likely to be those with experience in providing COSHH certificates and performing reactive maintenance in industrial environments. The eventual formal tender process, should it proceed, presents a chance for substantial business growth for well-suited suppliers in the UK ventilation consultancy industry.
