Having considered the responses to the RFI from potential suppliers there is a requirement to take account of the request for an appropriately extended mobilisation period between 20 - 36 weeks to allow for recovery of the service of backlogs resulting from Covid-19; as well as the need to review the viability of the financial envelope offered by benchmarking financial costs across AAA services. These requirements were not foreseeable to the Contracting Authority. (ii) The modification does not alter the overall nature of the contract. The 6-month modification from 01 April 2023 to 30 September 2023 will not result in any change to the overall nature of the AAA Screening Programme. (iii) Any increase in price does not exceed 50% of the value of the original contract or framework agreement. The 6-month extension value does not exceed 50% value of the original contract.",
